Private chauffeur
at Charles de Gaulle.

Book & Smile coordinates private chauffeurs at Paris-Charles de Gaulle for arrivals and departures: your flight is followed, the pick-up adjusted to the actual landing, the chauffeur waits at arrivals with a name sign and helps with luggage to the vehicle. Transfers to Paris hotels and residences, to Orly or Le Bourget for a connection, or straight to a first meeting — arranged by the same person who handles the rest of your stay.

Charles de Gaulle is 25 to 35 km from central Paris, with three terminals (1, 2A–2G, 3) spread over several kilometres and journey times that range from forty minutes to well over an hour depending on the hour and the day.

A transfer booked blind does not know which terminal your flight actually uses, that the aircraft landed twenty minutes early, that passport control at 2E is slow this morning, or that your luggage goes on to the hotel while you go to a meeting. Each of those is a phone call — in French — at the worst possible moment.

What if the car at CDG were simply the first item on a stay that someone in Paris was already running for you?

What we coordinate

  • Arrivals — flight followed, pick-up adjusted to the actual landing, chauffeur at the arrivals exit of your terminal with a name sign, luggage to the vehicle
  • Departures — pick-up timed to your terminal, airline and the day's traffic; early flights and late check-ins handled without stress
  • Hotel and residence transfers — direct to the address, with luggage sent separately when you have a first meeting
  • Connections — CDG to Orly or Le Bourget for onward flights, timed to the second departure
  • Families — child seats on request, larger vehicles for luggage, patient chauffeurs for tired travellers
  • Business travellers — a car that takes you from the gate to the first meeting and waits, if the day requires it

Charles de Gaulle, practically

CDG is the main long-haul gateway to Paris, served by Air France and most international carriers. Terminal 2 is itself a group of halls — 2A to 2G, with 2E and 2F handling much of the long-haul and Schengen traffic — and the walk from gate to kerb varies considerably. The chauffeur's meeting point and timing depend on the exact terminal, which is why we confirm it from your flight number rather than from the airline's name.

Journey times to central Paris are typically 45 to 60 minutes outside peak hours and can exceed 90 minutes on weekday mornings and Friday evenings. We plan departures accordingly, and we would rather you spend ten minutes in the lounge than ten minutes watching the clock on the A1.

Arrivals and departures for international clients

Most of our clients land at CDG from the United States, the Gulf, Asia or South America after a long flight; the car is the first impression of the stay. We confirm the chauffeur's name and number the day before, follow the flight from departure, and tell you in writing where to walk once you clear customs. If your stay continues with us — hotel, dinners, appointments, a chauffeur for the week — the same file carries on from the kerb.

What we do not promise

We cannot escort you through passport control or baggage reclaim — airside assistance is provided by the airport and airlines, and we can tell you how to request it. We coordinate the car and its timing, and we take responsibility for both.

FAQ

Where does the chauffeur wait at CDG?

At the arrivals exit of your terminal, with a name sign. The exact meeting point is confirmed in writing the day before, based on your flight number.

How long is the transfer from CDG to central Paris?

Typically 45 to 60 minutes; 90 minutes or more at weekday peaks. We plan departures with a margin and tell you the time we recommend.

Can you arrange a connection from CDG to Orly or Le Bourget?

Yes, timed to your onward flight. Allow 60 to 90 minutes between the airports depending on the hour.

Do you own the vehicles?

No. Book & Smile coordinates professional partner chauffeurs and remains your single point of contact — booking, timing, changes, follow-up. You never deal with the chauffeur company directly unless you wish to.

What happens if my flight or train is late?

Pick-up times are adjusted to the actual arrival. We follow flight and train schedules and brief the chauffeur; you do not need to call anyone.

Is the service bookable online?

No. Transportation is arranged by message or call through your concierge, as part of a wider request or on its own. Terms are set in a private consultation.
