Paris Fashion Week · International Visitors
Fashion Week in Paris,
for visitors from abroad.
For international visitors, Paris Fashion Week is a logistics problem before it is a fashion one: a full city, a nine-day agenda in another language, a six-to-nine-hour time difference with home. Book & Smile handles the practical week — arrival, stay, connectivity, movement, tables, détaxe, health and last-minute needs — with one local contact answering every day, from a briefing weeks before your flight.
Hotels in the 1st and 8th sell out months ahead; taxis vanish at show exits; the pharmacy closes; your bank blocks the card; the presentation moved to the 3rd and nobody told you.
You are in Paris to be present, not to solve Paris. Your team at home is asleep during the Paris day.
What if Paris had already been solved before you landed?
The practical week
- Before departure — stay secured, airport transfer, SIM/eSIM, restaurant plan, dress-code and weather brief, emergency contacts
- Arrival — met at the airport or station, luggage handled, hotel check-in prepared
- Movement — drivers with venue knowledge, timing buffers, walking alternatives when the 8th is gridlocked
- Money & paperwork — détaxe organised properly, card issues resolved with the bank, receipts kept
- Health & wellbeing — English-speaking doctor, pharmacy runs, late-night needs
- Every day — one WhatsApp thread, 8:00–22:00 Paris time, 24/7 for members

Do I need a visa for Paris Fashion Week?
Depends on your nationality: US, UK, Gulf, Brazilian, Korean and Japanese passport holders enter visa-free for up to 90 days; Chinese, Indian, Nigerian, South African and Turkish nationals need a Schengen visa — we prepare the Paris-side documents and invitation letters.
Can you get me into the runway shows?
Runway shows of the major houses are invitation-only and cannot be bought — anyone selling them should be avoided. We work through your existing client relationships with the houses to request guest-list placement, and we secure the accessible programme: presentations, showroom appointments, previews, dinners and the independent shows open to the right introduction.
When should I brief you?
Six to eight weeks before the week for houses, hotels and the tables that book out first; two weeks for a reduced programme; we also take last-minute requests during the week itself, every day, 8:00–22:00 Paris time and 24/7 for members.
How discreet are you?
One dedicated contact, NDA on request, your name mentioned only where you want it. We do not photograph, post or name clients.
