I · The Vertical
BookAndSmiles was built, in part, between INSEAD's administrative corridors and the residential fabric of Fontainebleau-Avon. We know the calendar, the profiles, the standards.
An INSEAD MBA rhythm does not accommodate improvisation. Four eight-week periods, dense core courses, Singapore-Fontainebleau switch-overs for certain promotions, and a parallel recruiting calendar that opens by P2. Life logistics must never enter the conversation.
Our intervention covers Full-Time MBA, EMBA, GEMBA, Tsinghua-INSEAD EMBA participants, and executives on long-form Executive Education programmes. Accompanying families — working spouse, school-age children — are systematically included in the mandate.
The objective is singular: that you arrive in Fontainebleau or Paris with an apartment ready, an administrative file already under instruction, and the mental space the training requires.

II · The Three Pillars
Three indissociable pillars. The sequence runs to a rhythm calibrated on the programme's academic calendar — never the other way around.
Distinguished houses and apartments on the edge of the Fontainebleau forest, or Parisian residences in the 16th and 7th arrondissements for participants favouring the capital and short TER commutes.
Expertise in facilitation and stewardship of regulatory files (banking, residence permit, CPAM). We orchestrate each step of the administrative sequence to minimise points of friction and processing delays.
Working spouse, school-age children and domestic life are addressed as a dedicated stream. The participant's concentration depends, in large part, on the fluidity of the family background.
III · The Sequence
Three moments, indexed on INSEAD's rhythm. The house starts before orientation, withdraws after settlement, and remains available through graduation.
T-6 weeks
Profile, spouse, children, preferred zone (Fontainebleau vs Paris), eventual switch-over to Singapore. The administrative file opens in parallel, before the final admission confirmation if you so choose.
T-2 weeks
Lease signed, inventory carried out, furniture delivered, internet and utilities activated. The banking file is pre-instructed at a Paris or Fontainebleau branch familiar with the INSEAD profile.
D+1 / Orientation
Airport welcome, key handover, neighbourhood briefing. Throughout P1, bilingual presence at every administrative appointment. The participant enters the programme without having opened a single file alone.
Before orientation
INSEAD files are scoped well in advance. A preliminary conversation is enough to size the mandate — apartment, family, administration.
